01. Do you have on a lot of make-up?
Not really
02. How much do you put on?
For a normal day at work - a foundation/powder combo, eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, and a bit of lip color.
03. How long does it take you to get ready?
About 30-45 minutes.
04. Do you put on a lot of lipgloss?
Not really. Just once in the morning over top of my nearly-permanent MAC lipstick stuff so I don't feel like my lips are going to flake off.
05. Does your lipgloss smell good?
Sort of? It kind of smells like a pudding-pop stick. Sort of woody-chocolaty.
06. Do you carry a purse?
Yes.
07. What color is it?
I have a bunch, but mostly stick to brown or black.
09. Do you have a Coach bag?
Nope.
10. Do you have a Louis Vuttion?
Nope.
11. How many purses do you have?
Maybe... six?
12. Do you like to wear nailpolish?
Only on my toes. It's too much of a pain to keep on my fingers because it usually starts peeling off after 12 hours.
13. How often do you get your nails done?
Never.
14. Do you like manicures?
Never had one.
15. What about pedicures?
Never had one, though I probably should. Like Danielle, it freaks me out.
16. Do you have a usual nail salon you go to?
Nope.
17. Where do you get your hair cut?
Wherever Lisa is. I finally found a stylist I love, and I've followed her to three different salons in the last five years or so. I like the place she's at now the best.
18. Do you dye your hair?
Yes, since about the age of 17. Though I'd like to give my hair a rest for awhile and see my natural color before it goes gray.
19. Do you straighten your hair?
Not really. My hair is stick-straight, but I'll use an iron to get rid of the frizz.
20. Do you have lots of pairs of shoes?
Not really, although every time I visit my mom she gives me a bag full of shoes she's never worn. They're pretty much all the same, but in seventy different colors. I rarely wear any of them.
21. What are your favorite shoes?
My Chuck's for comfort/casual, and my brown boots for work.
23. Do you wear heels everywhere?
Mostly just to work. It's really hard to find business-appropriate flat shoes that aren't ugly as sin.
24. Can you walk in heels and not fall over?
Yes. I actually move better in heels, flats tend to irritate my knees.
25. Where do you buy your clothes?
Macy's, Von Maur, Khol's, Target, New York & Co. & Express.
26. Do you go shopping every week?
No.
27. What's your favorite store?
Macy's in Twelve Oaks. Great clothes, great shoes, plus a MAC counter & Lush. And nice housewares. It's a one-stop shop, really.
28. How much do you usually spend?
I rarely actually go shopping, though I would if I had the money. So when I do, it's usually about $150 for whatever I'm stocking up on.
29. Have you ever been in Dior?
I don't think so, but I've bought their mascara at Sephora.
30. Do you follow fashion trends?
Well, I *follow* them but I can't really afford to *participate* in them. I am a fashion addict. I think it's fascinating. It starts out with "Wow, that's new and different!" then cycles to "I'm so sick of this and EVERYONE IS WEARING IT, get it off me!" within a season. Someone once said that fashion is the only form of art that's so ugly you have to replace it every season. I think it's amazing that these designers have to start all over once they've finished a collection. All that said, given my lack of a small fortune I'd rather wear comfortable classics than buy the over-saturated knock-offs every season.
31. Do you have a pair of huge sunglasses?
Not huge bug-eye ones, but I did finally start buying bigger ones last year. I don't really like the way they look, but I'm too old to care anymore - the more coverage from the sun, the better.
35. How many pairs of earrings do you have?
I have no idea. I have a few nice pairs and a ton of 1928 pairs. And yet I end up wearing earrings maybe 4 nights a year.
36. Do you wear hoop earrings?
Just for Rose costumes.
37. Do you have a lot of skirts?
Yes.
39. Do you get your eye brows done?
Nope
40. Can you apply mascara without opening your mouth?
I have no idea.
41. Do you wear a lot of eyeliner?
I wear it every day, but I don't wear a ton of it.
42. Do you do pilates or yoga?
Yoga. I should get back into that. I never found it particularly relaxing, but it was great for my balance. I found myself running into far fewer walls and such.
43. Do you have a lot of magazines?
No. I will occasionally pick up a Marie Claire, per my above noted fashion addiction. Other than that, my "magazine basket" is stuffed with garden catalogues.
